Most London tours—including panoramic walking or driving tours, as well as visits to the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and other major sights—last approximately 3–3.5 hours and are therefore considered half-day tours.
Half-day tours usually start at 9:00 or 10:00 in the morning, or at around 14:00 in the afternoon. Timings can be adjusted slightly to suit your plans.
A visit to the British Museum can be shorter: if we meet directly on the museum steps, just over two hours is usually enough to see its principal highlights. A walking tour or panoramic car tour of London generally lasts a little over three hours, including a short break for tea, coffee or rest.
Full-day tours normally last 7–8 hours, including time for lunch. For example, a full day may combine a London walk in the morning with an afternoon visit to the Tower of London or the National Gallery. Further suggested combinations are available in the ready-made programmes section.
Day trips to destinations outside London—such as Oxford and Warwick Castle, or Stonehenge and Salisbury—are also full-day tours. Windsor Castle and Hampton Court are exceptions, as each can normally be visited within a half day.
As every tour is private, I can create a bespoke itinerary to suit your interests, available time and requirements.
